My idea begins from the concept of the contrast between the hardness of the marble and the rubbery of the bouncing balls, underlined with the single real marble ball among the 13 ones of the choker necklace. Balls are the result of the industrial work. I simulated the grains of Calacatta white marble on the bouncing balls’ surface through the manual marbling technique.
